At CTP, we meet students where they are with highly customized and dynamic support that gets results without anxiety. Do we actively push our students to succeed? Yes. Do they always love the work? Of course not. But with constant open communication and flexible pedagogy, we get students through the process as quickly, successfully, and enjoyably as possible.

My name is Josh

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I've been tutoring full-time since 2001. That's over 2000 students and counting. When it comes to test prep, I'm all about the data. From diagnosing students' mistakes as careless or expected to steering them to targeted online content review to contextualizing their performance within proprietary historical student data, I believe in a systematic approach. Tutoring in this way allows me to run more efficient sessions, help students build confidence, and deliver great score outcomes. Compassionate (and efficient) test prep means students can return to the extracurricular activities they love most sooner rather than later.

Tutoring specialties include SAT Prep, Trigonometry, AP English, Statistics, ACT Prep, Regents review, GMAT support, and much more.

We collect personal information such as names, email addresses, and payment details to facilitate tutoring sessions. Your data is securely stored and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law. Students under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use our services.

To ensure a productive learning environment, all users must adhere to the following: Be respectful and professional in all interactions. No harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated. Do not share or distribute copyrighted materials without permission. Tutors and students should communicate only through approved channels for safety and transparency.


4. Booking and Payment Policy

Tutoring sessions must be booked in advance. Payments must be made before sessions begin unless mutually agreed to otherwise. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund; otherwise, the session will be counted/billed accordingly, regardless of whether a make-up session is scheduled.
